1933 Plymouth with Corvette Power

DRIVE-ABILITY:
This amazing Hot Rod was driven on a few long trips including the 2003 and 2015 Hot Rod Power Tours. It starts and drives effortlessly with strong Corvette power and precise steering for twisty mountain roads. Added comforts include Vintage Air, a nice sound system, plush seats, and power-assisted disc brakes. Ceramic headers and the Flowmaster exhaust system provide a throaty tone that turns heads at all car shows and earns this Hot Rod a lot of thumbs-up compliments.
MECHANICALS:
- Corvette 350 cu in (5.7L) L98 TPI engine with polished engine accessories and ceramic headers,
- 700R Overdrive automatic transmission (rebuilt with less than 2000 miles),
- Corvette rear suspension,
- Independent rack and pinion front suspension with coil-over shocks,
- 4-wheel power-assisted disc brakes,
- Walker aluminum radiator with 2 Auxiliary electric fans,
- Polished aluminum drive shaft,
- Stainless custom fuel tank with vacuum cap, baffles, and safety vent,
- Stainless custom battery box with under-hood connections for winter trickle charging,
- Stainless braided lines for coolant, Freon, power steering and brakes,
- Stainless Flowmaster exhaust system with H-pipes and chrome side vents,
- Vintage heat and air conditioning,
- 12-Volt electrical system
FRAME OFF RESTORATION:
- All steel body with all original sheet metal, including the fenders, finished in two-tone metallic green,
- Interior in excellent condition with easy access through the suicide doors,
- Billet Specialties wheels with matching steering wheel, interior handles and rear-view mirror,
- All new rubber including running boards and around the flip out windshield which hasn’t leaked in the rain,
- Did not cut up the original dash for the VDO gauges and tilt steering column,
- Door lock (on passenger side) and all windows work,
- Vintage Air heater and air conditioning kit hidden behind rear seat with ceiling ducts and glovebox controls,
- Overhead aluminum console with light and Pioneer AM/FM/CD,
- Bright lights: LED bulbs retrofitted into original buckets; added 7” H4 High/Low headlights in chrome buckets, added fog lights below front bumper, added front and rear turn signals with dash indicator lights, center 3rd rear brake light, removable 60” OPT7 rear light bar with 1200 LED’s uses trailer connection wiring,
- Ah-ooo-gah horn and seatbelts for safety.
